LEGAZPI CITY –– Police on Tuesday rounded up two minors facing rape complaints in Cataingan town in Masbate province.
Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson, reported Wednesday that the suspects, aged 15 and 16, and residing in Barangay Matubinao, did not resist when served the warrant of arrest in separate operations at 10:30 a.m and 12:30 a.m.
The Regional Trial Court Branch 49 issued the warrant for violation of the Anti-Rape Law of 1997.
The charge comes with no bail recommended.
The suspects are under custody at the town police jail.
