MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Tuesday said it has recorded an additional 110 new cases of COVID-19 among its officers.
According to data released by the PNP, this brings the total number of cases to 20,616, while active cases are at 1,641 as of May 3.
Meanwhile, 146 additional recoveries were logged during the same day, bringing total recoveries to 18,919.
The death toll on the other hand, remains at 56, as no new deaths were reported by the PNP Health Service.
On Monday, the Department of Health (DOH) said that the total number of confirmed COVID-19 infections in the Philippines reached 1,062,225, this includes 975,234 recoveries and 17,525 fatalities.
Active cases are at 69,466, said DOH.
