10 wanted persons collared on Labor Day in Bicol

LEGAZPI CITY — Police operatives rounded up on Labor Day at least ten persons wanted for different criminal complaints in separate police stings in Camarines Sur, Camarines Norte, and Sorsogon provinces, a police report said Sunday.

Police Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson, said those arrested were served with court issued warrants of arrest for the crimes of rape, sexual assault, statutory rape, frustrated murder, attempted murder, illegal drugs, women and child abuse and exploitation.

Arrested for the crimes of rape and sexual assault were Bryan Secretario, 19, of Ocampo town; John Paul Pepito, 23, of Ragay town; and Vigilio Reyes of Goa town, all from Camarines Sur.

Facing murder and frustrated and attempted murder complaints were Adamson Ocampo, 47, of Irosin, Sorsogon; Larry Deuda of Sorsogon City; Billy Respeto of Daet, Camarines Norte; and Melvin Bonagua, 33, of Sipocot, Camarines Sur.

For women and child abuse and exploitation, those arrested were Pedro Cepe, 45, of Minalabac, Camarines Sur and Ronaldo Era, 50, of Capalonga, Camarines Norte.

Jose Bayos, 32, of Baao, Camarines Sur, was held for illegal drug possession and trading.

All arrested persons were placed under the custody of the respective stations for proper disposition.
