More than P800-K worth of ecstasy seized in QC buy-bust

Police say four people are arrested in a drug raid in Novaliches, Quezon City and operatives found various kinds of illegal drugs, not just ecstasy. INQUIRER STOCK PHOTO

MANILA, Philippines — Anti-narcotics operatives arrested four suspected drug personalities and seized P885,000 worth of ecstasy among other illegal drugs during a buy-bust operation in Novaliches, Quezon City, on Wednesday afternoon.

In an initial police report, the suspects were identified as Louisse Santos, 24 years old; Merciano Gopo, 41 years old; Richard Ramos, 38 years old; and Ashley Fetalvero, 35 years old.

The suspects were arrested following a buy-bust operation in Barangay Sauyo, Novaliches, Quezon City.

Authorities said the raid yielded 150 pieces of Ecstasy worth P150,000, 210 pieces of Molly (capsulized ecstasy) worth P735,000, 180 grams of high-grade marijuana or “KUSH,” 10 grams white substance suspected to be cocaine, a manual capsule filling machine, empty capsules, a weighing scale, two cellular phones, buy-bust and boodle money, identification cards, assorted Lighters, and various drug paraphernalia.
