MANILA, Philippines — Fair weather will prevail nationwide on Monday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
Pagasa weather specialist Meno Mendoza, however, dded that isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms may occur in the afternoon and evening.
“Para sa magiging lagay ng panahon sa araw na ito, patuloy pa ring mararananasan ang maaaliwalas na panahon na may posibilidad pa rin ng isolated thunderstorms pagdating ng hapon at gabi,” he said.
(We will continue to have fair weather but with possible isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.)
Mendoza also said no weather disturbance is expected to enter the Philippine area of responsibility (PAR) in the next two to three days.
On Sunday, Pagasa said that most areas in the country may experience warm and humid days ahead since there is no tropical cyclone being expected in PAR following the exit of Typhoon Bising, which had regressed to a low pressure area and left PAR on Sunday morning.
