2 killed in separate shooting incidents in CamSur, Masbate
LEGAZPI CITY — Two men were killed in separate shooting incidents on Saturday night and at dawn on Sunday in the provinces of Camarines Sur and Masbate, a police report said.
Mario Sandrino, 49, an alleged member of Concepcion Crime Group and resident of Barangay (village) San Miguel in Bato town in Camarines Sur, was served a search warrant by police operatives at his residence on Sunday at around 2:25 a.m., according to Police Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson.
The report said the suspect drew his gun and fired at the approaching policemen, forcing them to retaliate.
The suspect died on the way to a nearby health station.
In Cawayan town in Masbate, an unidentified armed man shot and killed Artemio Alburo, 29, resident of Barangay San Vicente.
The report said the suspect called and asked the victim to come out of his house at around 7:50 p.m. Saturday.
Article continues after this advertisementAs the victim was coming out of his house, the suspect fired several rounds of bullets from an unknown gun, hitting the victim in various parts of this body.

Police are still investigating the case.
