TAGBILARAN CITY—Two more persons died of COVID-19 in the province of Bohol.

According to Dr. Cesar Tomas Lopez, spokesperson of  the province’s Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases, the new fatalities were two senior citizens from Tubigon town and Tagbilaran City.

They died on Wednesday (April 14) while being admitted at the Governor Celestino Gallares Memorial Hospital.

As of Thursday, Bohol has 303 active COVID-19 cases.

“This clearly affirms the presence of the virus in the community,” he said.

Lopez said the total COVID-19 cases in Bohol has reached 1,845 with 1,511 recoveries and 31 deaths.

Tagbilaran, the provincial capital, has the highest number of infections with 27 cases.
