Alleged rebel wanted for attempted murders nabbed in Masbate City
LEGAZPI CITY –– An alleged member of the New Peoples Army wanted for multiple attempted murder was arrested on Tuesday in Masbate City in Masbate province, police said Wednesday.
The Masbate police said in a report that authorities served an arrest warrant against Rolly Brabante, 63, in Barangay Nursery at 9:50 a.m.
Brabante, who uses the alias Punyong, was a member of the Komiteng Probinsya 4 under Elesio Cabarles Jr., aka Kiko/Raymund, operating in the 1st District of Masbate, the report said.
Judge Arturo Clemente Revil of the regional trial court branch 50 in San Jacinto, Masbate, issued the arrest warrant on Oct. 13, 2020.
