3 suspected drug pushers nabbed in separate stings in Bicol
LEGAZPI CITY –– Police arrested three alleged illegal drug peddlers and seized P574,000 worth of suspected crystal meth Monday in Camarines Sur and Catanduanes provinces.
Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson, said the drug operations yielded around 70 grams of shabu and a .22 caliber handgun.
In Virac town in Catanduanes, police arrested Alexander Aguilar, 36, a high-value target drug peddler and resident of Barangay Sto. Niño at 9:52 p.m. in his residence. The suspect yielded six sachets of shabu weighing 55 grams.
In Naga City, Camarines Sur, police caught Guillermo Reapor, 50, of Barangay Cararayan, while selling shabu to an undercover agent around 3 p.m. in Barangay Tinago. During the search, Reapor yielded about 15 grams of crystal meth.
Neil Latumbo, 39, of Barangay Caroyroyan in neighboring Pili town, was nabbed in a buy-bust around 5:45 p.m. also in Cararayan. Aside from drugs, the police also found a .22 caliber handgun in Latumbo’s possession.
The suspects are in police custody and facing charges for possession and selling of illegal drugs and firearms.
