Roque diagnosed with pneumonia
MANILA, Philippines — Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque on Sunday said he contracted pneumonia due to COVID-19 but was feeling better after taking medication.
“I am better after only one vial of remdesivir and steroids. I came in at the right time since pneumonia was caught early on,” Roque said on his Facebook account.
He said his doctors won’t discharge him until he takes four more vials of remdesivir, which means he would still be confined in an undisclosed hospital until Thursday.
“But I do feel normal already on my third day of confinement, enough to do my thrice a week briefings,” he said.
Roque also tested positive for the virus on March 15 but was asymptomatic.
