The hashtag #NasaanAngPangulo earlier trended following Duterte’s failure to appear in his two succeeding public addresses, just when the country was hitting record-high single-day tallies of coronavirus cases, and record-high number of fatalities.

Malacañang explained that Duterte’s absence from the public eye was to keep him and his staff safe from the high number of COVID-19 cases.

Questions on the President’s whereabouts prompted his former longtime aide and Senator Christopher “Bong” Go to share photos of Duterte.

On Saturday, Go also shared a video clip of Duterte jogging in the Malacañang grounds.
