URDANETA CITY –– Local police have arrested a Philippine Army member who allegedly shot two residents of this city on Tuesday evening.

The police said Private First Class Nicho Argos, 27, of Dilan Paurido village in this city, used his service firearm to shoot Celine Fernandez Doria, 20, and Fernando Manzano, 28, both from the city.

Doria had reportedly asked Argos to give her a ride home after both attended a party, but the suspect tried to take her to a hotel, the police said.
