Norwegian national found dead inside house in Biliran

ORMOC CITY –– A 63-year-old Norwegian national was found dead inside his house in Barangay Villa Caneja, Naval, Biliran at 10:25 p.m. on Wednesday.

Major Michael John Astorga, chief of the Naval Police Station, identified the victim as Svein Hakonse, who is temporarily residing in the place with his wife, child, parents, and sibling.

Chairwoman Juanilla Monchedora of Barangay Villa Caneja has informed the police about the incident.

Upon arrival at the victim’s house, the responding policemen found Hakonse with a gunshot wound on his jaw.

The local police are investigating the case to identify the circumstances of Hakonse’s death.
