2 more Metro Manila hospitals declare full capacity for COVID-19 cases
MANILA, Philippines — Two more hospitals in Metro Manila announced Sunday that they have reached full capacity for their COVID-19 wards.
In a Facebook post, Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center in Manila City said their COVID-19 wards and isolation rooms are already operating at 124.44 percent capacity.

“Kaugnay nito, kami po ay pansamantalang maglilimita sa pagtanggap ng mga pasyenteng POSITIBO SA COVID habang aming tinutugunan ang mga pangangailangang medikal ng nga COVID patients na kasalukuyang nasa aming pangangalaga,” it said.
“Mananatiling bukas ang ating Emergency Room upang tugunan ang mga pasyenteng may kagyat (urgent) na pangangailangang medikal,” it added.
Las Piñas Doctors Hospital also declared reaching full capacity for its COVID-19 ward and facilities.

“However, our hospital WILL CONTINUE TO PROVIDE CARE FOR NON-COVID Patients. Our Out-patient, In-patient, Diagnostics, and Emergency Room Services will remain available for everyone,” it noted.
On Sunday, the Philippines recorded 9,475 new COVID-19 infections.
