No service disconnections until April 15, says Meralco
MANILA, Philippines — Manila Electric Company (Meralco) customers can expect no service disconnections until April 15 after the government placed several areas under enhanced community quarantine (ECQ).
“Effective immediately, there will be No Disconnections until April 15, 2021,” Meralco said Sunday on its Facebook page.
Meralco said this in consideration of the government placing Metro Manila, Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, and Rizal under ECQ beginning March 29 to April 4.

Further, Meralco said “onsite meter reading will continue” alongside bill deliveries.
Meralco Business Centers (BC) will continue to operate on a skeleton workforce from March 29 to 31, 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Meralco BCs will be closed from April 1 to 3 in observance of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Black Saturday.
