COVID-19 kills lawyer, priest in Bulacan, raises province’s death toll to 502
CITY OF MALOLOS—A 44-year-old lawyer and a 53-year-old priest died of COVID-19, according to their relatives.
The lawyer was already infected with SARS Cov2, the coronavirus that causes COVID-19, when he suffered a heart attack and died in a hospital here on Tuesday (March 23).
The lawyer used to work for the legal office of the Bulacan provincial government.
Fr. Arnold Sta. Maria Canoza, a native of San Rafael town who served as parish priest of San Agustin Church in Intramuros, died in a hospital in Manila on Sunday.
Canoza was also a former employee of the San Rafael town hall.
As of Wednesday, the fatalities related to COVID-19 rose to 502 in Bulacan.
