Emergency room of Manila hospital temporarily closed for disinfection

Suspected meningo case prompts Manila gov’t hospital to shut ER

MANILA, Philippines — The emergency room of the Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center will be closed until Tuesday morning for terminal cleaning and disinfection, the Manila Public Information Office (MPIO) announced Monday.

MPIO said the hospital’s emergency room will be closed until March 23, Tuesday, 8 a.m. to make way for disinfection due to a suspected Meningococcemia case who died earlier in the said area.
