Fair, warm Sunday weather with possible rain showers – Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines — Fair weather is expected nationwide on Sunday with possible rain showers and thunderstorms, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

In Pagasa’s early morning update, weather specialist Meno Mendoza said the easterlies, or warm winds coming from the Pacific ocean, continue to affect the country.

In Luzon, Mendoza said fair weather is expected with the possibility of rains due to isolated thunderstorms, especially in the afternoon and evening.

Temperature in Metro Manila will range from a low of 25 degrees Celsius to a high of 31 degrees Celsius.

The Visayas and Mindanao will likewise continue to experience warm weather along with isolated rain showers nd thunderstorms.

The temperature and Iloilo City will range from 26 degrees Celsius to a high of 32 degrees Celsius while temperature in Metro Cebu will range from 27 degrees Celsius to a high of 32 degrees Celsius.

In Metro Davao, the state weather bureau said temperature will range from 26 to 33  degrees Celsius.

The state weather bureau did not raise any gale warning but cautioned that coastal water in Luzon will be moderate to strong (1.2 to 2.8 meters).

The rest of the country, meanwhile, will have light to moderate (0.6 to 2.1 meters) coastal waters.
