CITY OF CALAPAN – The provincial government of Occidental Mindoro on Sunday announced that only a skeleton workforce will be on duty at the capitol from March 15 to 31 due to the rising number of COVID-19 cases in Mamburao.
Occidental Mindoro Governor Eduardo Gadiano said on social media Saturday night that the skeleton workforce will employ a four-day work week beginning Monday in all offices of the provincial capitol.
On Saturday, March 13, six new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Mamburao town.
Total number of COVID-19 cases in the province as of Saturday is 245 (17 active.)
The province also recorded 217 recoveries and 11 deaths.
