Leadership, action, direction needed amid pressing problems, says Cavite gov
MANILA, Philippines — Filipinos need leadership and direction amid the surge of COVID-19 cases and other economic issues, Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla said Monday.
Remulla made the remark as he noted that most of the solutions to the pressing problems of the country can only come from the national government.
He noted for instance the increase in prices of pork and chicken, vaccine rollout, inflation, and economic recession as among the issues he does not have control of.
“Kung kaya ko lang sana bigyang solusyon ang lahat ng issues bilang Punong Panlalawigan? Nakatitiyak ang lahat na ito ay gagampanan ko agad. No questions asked,” he said.
(If only I can provide a solution to all the issues as the Cavite governor, I am certain that I can fulfill it all. No questions asked.)
