Inquirer Interactive now home to Hinge lifestyle brands

“You have arrived at a workplace that’s here to stay.”

This was what Paolo R. Prieto, president and CEO of Inquirer Interactive, told the staff of lifestyle brands Nolisoli, Scout, Preen, Multisport and F&B Report as he welcomed them into their new home which he calls “my happy place”.

The online company, which publishes INQUIRER.net, acquired the titles from Hinge Inquirer, a niche content company, on Feb. 23, 2021, as part of its expansion plans.

“We are excited to have the opportunity to grow the Hinge brands or what I call the socially conscious titles with a distinct voice,” Prieto said. “These brands will bring more Gen Z and millennials which are key audience segments that INQUIRER.net wants to expand further.”

The acquisition of Hinge titles is also aligned with the goal of the Inquirer Group of Companies (IGC) to strengthen its presence across all media segments.

Under INQUIRER.net’s aegis, expect a new era for the Hinge brands and its custom division. The brand equity of Hinge titles plus the team’s editorial and creative capabilities combined with INQUIRER.net’s digital expertise and infrastructure solidify the titles’ value proposition to advertisers and clients.

With INQUIRER.net’s reach now totalling 20 million unique users, 77 million monthly visits, 30 million video views, 10.5 million social media followers and 175 million engagements on social media, the acquisition of Hinge brands boosts its portfolio of content verticals to cater to the needs of different audience segments.
