QUEZON, Isabela — Police arrested two suspected high-value target drug dealers and seized P16-million worth of marijuana bricks here on Saturday.
Police Col. James Cipriano, Isabela police director, identified the suspects as Anwar Sindatoc, 54, from Las Piñas City, and Elson Cabunyag, 43, from Port Area in Manila.
Investigators said the suspects were caught transacting with an undercover agent inside a moving car at the boundary of Barangay Abut here and Tabuk City in Kalinga province.
The suspects engaged the policemen in a brief car chase before they were finally flagged down at a quarantine control checkpoint in Quezon.
Police seized assorted boxes, sacks, and cartons containing 126 marijuana bricks, tubular marijuana dried leaves, and hashish, an illegal weed.
The two suspects will be charged with violation of the anti-drug law.
