LPA spotted outside PAR, warm Sunday weather due – Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines — A low-pressure area (LPA) was spotted off Mindanao and outside the Philippine area of responsibility, although warm weather will still prevail, the state weather bureau said Sunday morning.
Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) weather specialist Meno Mendoza said the LPA was last spotted 2,095 kilometers east of Mindanao.
“Sa kasalukuyan meron tayong binabantayang isang low pressure area na nasa labas ng ating PAR. Hindi naman ito nakakaapekto sa ngayon sa anumang bahagi ng bansa,” he said in a weather forecast issued by Pagasa on early Sunday morning.
(We are currently monitoring a low pressure area outside PAR. Currently, it does not have any effect on the country’s weather condition.)
Mendoza added that warm weather due to the easterlies or warm winds coming from the Pacific Ocean can be expected.
