Woman, 23, gunned down in Davao del Sur town
DIGOS CITY—A 23-year-old woman was shot to death in Bansalan town, Davao del Sur on Friday.
Major Peter Glenn Ipong, Bansalan municipal police chief, said that Alexa Mae Jusay Monday of Dolo village was standing beside the road at about 10:15 p.m. when a still unidentified attacker shot the victim then fled towards an unknown direction.
Monday was hit in the stomach and was rushed by emergency responders to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Ipong admits that their investigators are still facing a blank wall on the motive and identity of the assailant.
He hopes that witnesses would come out and offer information that could provide leads for investigation.
