MANILA, Philippines — The northeast monsoon or “amihan” is expected to bring cloudy skies with isolated rain showers to Northern Luzon on Friday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) reported.

The state weather bureau said cloudy skies with rain showers are expected in Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora and Quezon.

Further, Pagasa said the “amihan” will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with chances of isolated rain showers to the Ilocos region, Cordillera, and the rest of Cagayan Valley.

Fair weather is expected over the rest of the country, with possible isolated rain showers.

Pagasa likewise reported that no low pressure area (LPA)  or weather disturbance is being monitored within the Philippine area of responsibility.
