Farmer nabbed for illegal possession of bullets in Calapan City
CITY OF CALAPAN –– A farmer was arrested for illegal possession of live ammunition Wednesday in Barangay Balingayan in this city.
A report from the Calapan police said their operatives carried out a search warrant against Efren Abiul, 44, of Sitio (sub-village) Sunrise View at 5:50 a.m.
Judge Anna Mae Abucayon of the Municipal Trial Court in Cities based here issued the search warrant for violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.

Seized from the suspect’s possession were two live bullets for a 12-gauge shotgun inside a blue pouch.
Abiul is now under the custody of Calapan police while the complaint is being prepared against him.
