2 Bohol seniors die of COVID-19

Few people are at the public market of Ubay town, Bohol province as restrictions continue to prevent transmission of SARS Cov2, the virus that causes COVID-19. LEO UDTOHAN

TAGBILARAN CITY—Two senior citizens in the province of Bohol died of COVID-19, according to health officials.

Dr. Cesar Tomas Lopez, spokesperson of the Bohol Inter-Agency Task Force (BIATF), said the latest fatalities were a 60-year-old woman and a 61-year-old man.

The female patient, who had pneumonia and diabetes, died while being admitted at Don Emilio Del Valle Memorial Hospital.

The male patient died while being transported to Don Emilio Del Valle Memorial Hospital.

Both tested positive for SARS Cov2, the virus that causes COVID-19.

As of Monday (March 1) Bohol has 91 active COVID-19 cases and 22 deaths.
