2 suspected drug pushers fall in Quezon busts

LUCENA CITY –– Police arrested two suspected drug pushers and seized over P26,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in Tayabas City on Sunday night.

A Quezon police report said anti-illegal drugs operatives collared Arthur Coloma, 50, after selling shabu to a police agent in Barangay Wakas at 11:55 p.m.

Authorities confiscated three sachets of shabu worth P16,524.

The police also seized the suspect’s motorcycle used in his illegal drugs peddling business.

Earlier, at 9:10 p.m., Tayabas policemen also busted Noriel Alvarez in another sting operation in Barangay Ibabang Palale.

The suspect yielded three sachets of shabu with a street value of P10,608.

The suspects are detained at the Tayabas City police jail and facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
