Expect warm Saturday weather — Pagasa

MANILA, Philippines — Warm weather due to the easterlies will prevail in most parts of the country on Saturday, the state weather bureau said. 

 “Nakakaapekto pa rin ang easterlies kaya makakaranas pa rin tayo ng medyo mainit na panahon (The easterlies is still affecting our country,hence we will experience warm weather) ,” Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) weather specialist Aldczar Aurelio said in an early morning update.

No weather disturbance is posing a threat to the country, so far,  Aurelio added.

 Despite the warm weather, state meteorologists also forecast that the easterlies will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms to Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Forecast temperature range in key cities/areas:

  • Metro Manila: 25 to 34 degrees Celsius
  • Baguio City: 15 to 25 degrees Celsius
  • Tagaytay City: 21 to 30 degrees Celsius
  • Tuguegarao: 23 to 32 degrees Celsius
  • Laoag: 23 to 31 degrees Celsius
  • Legazpi: 26 to 31 degrees Celsius
  • Kalayaan Islands: 26 to 32 degrees Celsius
  • Puerto Princesa: 25 to 32 degrees Celsius
