Navotas shuts down Centennial Park

/ 05:10 AM February 26, 2021

The Navotas City Hall shut down on Thursday a popular public park because of a spike in COVID-19 cases in the city.

In early February, Navotas logged 33 active cases, but by this week, the number shot up to 209 cases.

Mayor Toby Tiangco said the city had to close the Navotas Centennial Park as a precautionary measure and to prevent further virus transmission. —NIKKA G. VALENZUELA
