42 new infections bring COVID-19 cases in PNP to over 11,200

MANILA, Philippines — The number of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases within the Philippine National Police (PNP) has now breached the 11,200 mark after 42 new infections were recorded Friday.

In its February 25 bulletin, the PNP said there are now 11,218 cases within the police force—of which 470 remain active.

The PNP also recorded 32 new recoveries, bringing the total number of those who have recovered from the disease to 10,717.

Meanwhile, the death toll stands at 31.
