Zambales COVID-19 deaths climb to 22
SAN ANTONIO, Zambales –– Another patient with the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) has died in this province, bringing the total death toll to 22.
Dr. Noel Bueno, provincial health director, said on Monday, Feb. 22, that the latest fatality is a 56-year-old woman from Subic town.
The patient’s health records showed that she also had acute pulmonary congestion, chronic kidney disease, and severe hypertension, among other complications.
Bueno said the province also recorded two new COVID-19 cases–a 45-year-old man from Cabangan town and a 57-year-old woman from San Felipe town.
As of Monday, Zambales recorded 940 COVID-19 cases since the pandemic started, 21 of them active, and 896 recoveries.
