41 marijuana bricks, ‘shabu’ seized from 2 Isabela villagers

QUEZON, Isabela –– Police on Thursday seized 41 dried marijuana bricks and sachets of “shabu” (crystal meth) from two villagers during a buy-bust operation here.
Col. James Cipriano, Isabela police director, identified the suspects as Marcelo Tudlong Thomas of Tabuk City and Keruben Winnie Banosan of this town.
The two were caught in Barangay Barucboc here and yielded the marijuana bricks weighing about 40 kilos and shabu weighing about five grams.
The police also recovered the marked money used during the anti-drug sting.
The suspects will be charged for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. INQ
