COVID-19 kills 3 more people in Cagayan province
TUGUEGARAO CITY—Three people in Cagayan province died of COVID-19 on Wednesday (Feb. 17), officials said.
The fatalities were residents of the towns of Lasam, Gattaran and Tuao, data from the Cagayan provincial health office showed.
According to health authorities, the three also suffered from other health conditions while being treated for COVID-19.
To date, 39 deaths related to COVID-19 had been recorded in Cagayan.
Tuguegarao City logged the highest number of fatalities with 17 while Solana had four.
The province has 128 active COVID-19 cases as of Thursday (Feb. 18).
