6 suspected drug pushers nabbed in Bicol

LEGAZPI CITY –– At least six alleged notorious illegal drug peddlers were arrested by police anti-narcotics agents on Sunday, Feb. 14, in separate drug stings in Bicol, a police report said on Monday.

Major Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson, said the separate drug stings yielded seven sachets of suspected shabu (crystal meth) and a total of P3,000 marked money.

In Camarines Sur province, Rolando De Jesus, 44, living in Barangay Sta. Lucia in Magarao town, was arrested while selling shabu to undercover police in his village at 9:46 p.m.

In Albay province, Michael Duka, 29, a high-value target drug pusher, was caught selling shabu in a drug operation at 5:10 p.m. in Barangay Coro-Coro in Tiwi town. Seized from the suspect were three sachets of shabu and P500 marked money.

In Daraga town, police arrested Miguel Buere, 46, resident of Barangay 8 in this city, while selling shabu to an undercover police operative at 4:45 p.m. along Magayon Drive, Doña Maria Subdivision in Barangay Tagas.

Also on Sunday afternoon, police held Ronnie Dacillo, 40, a high-value target, for selling a sachet of shabu during a drug operation in Barangay Bagumbayan.

In Sorsogon, Jeovani Delos Santos, 27, a resident of Barangay Del Rosario, Pilar town, was nabbed at a drug sting in Barangay Cumadcad in Castilla town. Police seized from the suspect, who is on the list of persons who use drugs (PWUD), a sachet of shabu, and P500 marked money.

In Aroroy town in Masbate province, the police arrested Mark Repal, alias Alex Cabatingan, 27, resident of Barangay Puro, in Barangay Syndicate at 2:30 p.m. The suspect is considered number three most wanted person in Aroroy facing criminal charges for violation of the Comprehensive Anti-Illegal Drugs Act.
