Marinduque Covid-19 watch: 279 total cases, 4 new infections recorded

LUCENA CITY – Marinduque’s coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) cases rose to 279 with four new infections reported and recorded by local health authorities on Saturday.

The Marinduque provincial health office, in its daily bulletin issued on Feb. 13, said the four of 79 individuals recently tested positive for the virus.

Three of the cases were reported in Santa Cruz and one in Boac.

As of Feb. 13,  260 confirmed virus carriers in Marinduque have recovered, while 13 other died.

The province still has six active cases.
