Heavy vehicles banned on Nagtahan flyover
Only light vehicles can cross the Nagtahan flyover in Manila starting Feb. 20, after the Department of Public Works and Highways found several cracks on the flyover’s wingwall, concrete pedestal of the steel railings and circular joint jackets.
Trucks and trailer trucks will have to use alternative routes to prevent further damage and untoward incidents on the flyover. Motorists are advised to take alternative routes.
Southbound heavy vehicles may take Earnshaw Street, Legarda Street, Ayala Street, P. Burgos Street to Roxas Boulevard.
Northbound heavy vehicles may take Quirino Avenue to Roxas Boulevard, and Quirino Avenue Extension to UN Avenue to Roxas Boulevard. —Mariejo S. Ramos
