Drug personality killed in Silay City
BACOLOD CITY –– A suspected drug personality, who was recently released from the New Bilibid Prison in Muntinlupa City, was shot dead by motorcycle-riding gunmen in Barangay Mambulac, Silay City on Tuesday, Feb. 9.
Ronald Suating was having a snack in front of his girlfriend’s house in Barangay Mambulac at 5:40 p.m. when two persons on board a motorcycle approached and shot him, said Maj. Rollie Pondevilla, Silay police chief.
He suffered gunshot wounds on the head and other parts of his body.
Suating was imprisoned at the national penitentiary for illegal drug charges, Pondevilla said.
