Antique’s No. 5 most wanted falls in Nueva Ecija

RIZAL, Nueva Ecija – One of the most wanted persons in Antique province was arrested here on Sunday morning, police said.

Maj. Jaime Ferrer, acting town police chief, identified the suspect as Rogelio Ressurection, 37, a native of Senator Ninoy Aquino town in Sultan Kudarat.

Ressurection was listed as the no. 5 most wanted person in Culasi town, Antique province and has been the subject of two warrants of arrest for rape.

Ferrer said the suspect was arrested by joint forces of local and Culasi police on the strength of arrest warrants issued by Judge Josefina Muego of Regional Trial Court Branch 13 of Culasi Antique on Sept. 4, 2020.

Ressurection was detained at the local jail facility and no bail was recommended for his temporary release.
