CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Two drug suspects who yielded 22 bags of dried marijuana leaves worth an estimated P2.5 million were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Angeles City Sunday night, police said on Monday.
Brig. Gen. Valeriano de Leon, Central Luzon police director, identified the arrested suspects as Benhur Buenaventura and Marion Raymundo.
The drug sting was carried out by the Angeles City police’s Drug Enforcement Unit and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Barangay Balibago just outside the Clark Freeport.
Authorities said the seized marijuana weighed more than 20 kilos.

The suspects were detained at the PDEA jail here and will face a complaint for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
