MANILA, Philippines —Fair weather is expected in most parts of the country on Saturday due to the northeast monsoon or “amihan,” the state weather bureau said.
“Makakaranas po ng makulimlim na panahon and then may pag-ulan dito sa eastern side ng ating bansa. Pero yung western part po, kasama ang Metro Manila, posibleng makaranas ng maganda, bahagyang maulap hanggang sa maulap na kalangitan,” Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) weather specialist Ezra Bulquerin said.
(We will have cloudy skies with rains over the eastern side of the country. But the western side, including Metro Manila, will have better conditions, from partly cloudy to cloudy skies.)
The Visayas, Caraga and Davao regions will have cloudy skies with rains, while Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Bicol region, Aurora and Quezon will have cloudy skies with light rains.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country, meanwhile, will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains also due to the amihan.
No weather disturbance is expected to enter the country within the next three days, Bulquerin said.
