2 Naga City teenagers nabbed in marijuana buy-bust operations

LEGAZPI CITY — Police arrested two teenagers in separate marijuana buy-bust operations in Naga City, Camarines Sur Sunday night.

Master Sergeant Tobias Bongon, Naga City police spokesperson, said Kendryx Tapalla, 18, was arrested after he sold a sachet of dried marijuana leaves to an undercover police agent in Barangay Igualdad at around 9:15 p.m.

Authorities recovered P2,000 worth of marijuana from Tapalla who was in the police’s illegal drugs watch list.

About 40 minutes later, a 16-year-old grade 11 student was arrested in another sting in Barangay Sta. Cruz.

The suspect yielded two sachets containing marijuana worth around P2,000.

Bongon said the student was Tapalla’s source of illegal drugs.
