LPA, fronts to bring scattered to widespread rains in 7 Luzon provinces

MANILA, Philippines — The provinces of Cagayan, Isabela, Aurora, Quezon, Camarines Norte, Camarines Sur, and Catanduanes will have cloudy skies with scattered to widespread rains and thunderstorms on Wednesday due to the low pressure area (LPA) and the tail-end of a frontal system, according to the state weather bureau.

The LPA was last spotted 20 km northeast of Romblon, Romblon, based on the weather forecast issued by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) at 4 a.m.
