Earthquake rocks parts of Samar
TACLOBAN CITY – A 3.6 magnitude earthquake hit parts of Samar on Sunday morning.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the earthquake struck at 6:37 a.m. in Maslog, Eastern Samar.
The quake was tectonic in origin and had a depth of 67 kilometers.
The earthquake was felt in Catbalogan City, Samar at Intensity 2 and Borongan City, also in Eastern Samar, at Intensity 1.
