Isabela logs 66 new COVID-19 cases, another one-day high

CITY OF ILAGAN—The province of Isabela has registered 66 new COVID-19 cases on Thursday (Jan. 14), officials said.

The new infections, mostly in this city, raised to 481 the province’s active COVID-19 cases.

Among the latest cases were those of health workers, policemen and persons not authorized to be out of their residences.

Ilagan City Mayor Josemarie Diaz has also ordered the lockdown of four areas in the city due to the surging infections. These are Purok 5 (populated Capitol Hills Subdivision) of Barangay Alibagu, Purok Centro B in Barangay Calamagui 1st, Purok 3 in Sta. Barbara and Purok 2 in Barangay Camunatan.
