3 new cases added to Zambales’ COVID-19 tally
SAN ANTONIO, Zambales–Three new COVID-19 cases were recorded in Zambales on Tuesday (Jan. 12), raising the province’s tally of cases to 755.
Dr. Noel Bueno, provincial health director, said one of the new cases was that of a 63-year-old woman who works as an administrative assistant in a government office.
Antigen tests, which detect alien matter in the body, showed her possibly infected with SARS Cov2, the virus that causes COVID-19, on Monday (June 11). This was confirmed by a more exhaustive test, RT-PCR, on the same day.
The other new cases were those of a 57-year-old woman from Palauig town and a 48-year-old man from Castillejos town.
The province has 719 recoveries and 17 deaths.
