5 drug suspects fall in Camarines Norte buy-busts; P52K shabu seized
LEGAZPI CITY –– Anti-narcotics operatives seized P52,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) from five drug suspects, including a high-value target in separate buy-bust operations in Jose Panganiban town in Camarines Norte province on Sunday and Monday.
Captain Edwin Adora, Jose Panganiban police chief, said in a report that Rosalie Gonzalgo, 48, and Rolly Rala, 33, were arrested in Barangay Luklukan Norte at 2:50 a.m. on Monday.
Authorities seized ten small sachets and two medium sachets of suspected shabu from Gonzalgo and two small sachets from Rala with a total amount of about P18,000.
Gonzalgo was on the illegal drugs watch list in the province.
In a belated report, Adora said Rian Ablaneda, 39; Benjie Corbito, 47; and Reynaldo Caro, 43, were also arrested in a separate buy-bust operation in Barangay Luklukan Sur around 10:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Adora said Ablaneda was a high-value drug suspect and allegedly a member of the “Gutierrez Drug Group” operating in the province.
Confiscated from the suspects were five grams of shabu worth P34,000.
