Motorcyclist dies in Quezon highway mishap
LUCENA CITY – A motorcycle rider died in a hit-and-run incident along the Quirino Highway in Tagkawayan, Quezon Friday night.
The Quezon police reported that Rommel Sequitin, 32, a resident of Tanauan, Batangas was hit by a still unknown vehicle along the national highway in Barangay San Francisco at around 7:10 p.m.
Sequitin sustained serious injuries and died on the spot.
The driver of the vehicle that hit the victims motorcycle sped off after the incident.
The police found a broken bumper at the accident site with a Hyundai-Kia marking with serial numbers which the investigators believe is from the culprit’s vehicle.
