2 drug suspects nabbed in Pangasinan

CALASIAO, Pangasinan –– Police here on Wednesday arrested a 35-year-old construction worker tagged as the province’s fourth priority target on anti-illegal drugs.

Arnel Sanchez alias “Badz,” a resident of Dagupan City, was arrested during a buy-bust operation in which he was caught selling “shabu” (crystal meth) to an undercover agent around 9 a.m. in Barangay San Miguel here. The investigators said Sanchez yielded eight sachets of shabu.

In Basista town, a 24-year-old drug suspect was also arrested on the same night.

Melchor Ferrer de Guzman, a driver, was arrested on the strength of a warrant issued by a local court.

Seized from his house were two sachets of shabu and ammunition.
