2 dead in QC blaze

MANILA, Philippines — Two persons died when fire razed a house in Quezon City early Friday.

The blaze broke out at around 2 a.m. along Matahimik Street in Barangay Malaya, a barangay official said when interviewed by radio station DZBB.

The fire, which had reached first alarm, was fully extinguished past 6 a.m.

The two fatalities are siblings aged 24 and 10.

Further investigation is ongoing to determine the cause of the blaze.
